Nigerians, thuggery is one of the biggest problems with the Nigerian political system. I was reading through this Twitter thread when I realized how the political class has weaponized poverty against the people. The thread offers its own solution but I think more people need to contribute to the discussion. How can we discourage thuggery (both offline and online) as 2023 approaches? |

There is only one way, only one way and that is the only way re-amend the electoral act and make it a duty that any act of thuggery should have a penalty of at least 99 year jail term with an extra year in view. |
