Former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has verbally attacked Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in a viral video. According to Oshiomhole, Obi couldn't fix insecurity in Anambra because Bakassi boys caused a lot of harm under his watch. He told a large audience that Obi can't fix the insecurity in Nigeria.

Everybody in the east are shocked at the lie coming from Oshiomole. An ex governor that cannot differentiate between the tenure of Chinweoke Mbadinuju and Chris Ngige and that of Peter Obi.
The fact is that before Peter Obi became governor, insecurity was at its peak. There was the menace of Bakassi boys that seemed to have overwhelmed the governor Mbadinuju. It peaked in the tenure of Ngige that even he was abducted by people who are leaders of apc today in Anambra.
Peter Obi came in and in full measures drove them all out of Anambra. Peter Obi's tenure still remains the safest period of the state since 1999.
But Oshiomole has just done what he's best known for; lying against people and hoping that ignorant people who dont fact check or have short memories will run to town with his lies

The Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has today retracted the false and baseless comments he attributed to Governor Samuel Ortom, on the 27th of July, 2018.

Olika Reporters News notes how the retraction has been published in some national newspapers today, 18th March, 2021.

He retracted: “On the 27th day of July, 2018 at the National Headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and particularly in my capacity then as the Chairman of the Party, I addressed different national issues as well as some events which occurred in Benue State, including the movement earlier that day of his Excellency, Dr. Samuel Ortom (Executive Governor of Benue State) from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party.

“In the course of the press conference, I made certain comments about Dr Ortom on the basis of information I have since found to be false and baseless.

“His Excellency Dr Samuel Ortom felt embarrassed, defamed and deeply aggrieved by the comments I made at the said press conference, culminating in litigation.

“That politics aside, Governor Samuel Ortom is a dear friend and brother with whom I have shared so much in common, including mutual respect.




“That as former colleagues and one time members of the Nigerian Governors’ forum and most importantly as someone whom I am just a phone call away from, any ridicule, embarrassment, spite and insult caused Dr Samuel Ortom is regretted.

“Owing to the relationship we share and in the larger interest of peace, harmony and brotherliness, I believe a complete retraction of my comments made on 27th July, 2018, and which Dr Samuel Ortom found offensive is proper and necessary.


“In view of all the above, I hereby retract the comments made during the press conference on 27th July, 2018, as it relates to Dr Samuel Ortom.”

Oshiomhole is on video record telling a widow to "go and die" when he was a governor. That's aside Tinubu's tenure as governor of Lagos state birthed officially recognised agberos who metamorphosed into violent street cultists to solidify their holds on areas and bus stops they operate in. These cultists like one million boys, awawa boys, aiye and eye (last two were once strictly in higher institutions) are regularly involved in violent crimes like armed robbery which regularly leads to deaths. Even till today, robberies on third mainland bridge are a regular occurrence and known cultists like mc Oluomo and Kunle Poly are above the law in Lagos state except you cross to the other side then you'll get planked to death in broad daylight like that guy at mile 12. Peter Obi on the other hand didn't introduce agberoism to Anambra, you can't link any cultists or criminals to him, he did his job to the best of his ability at least I travelled down there from Lagos regularly. In Lagos, I remember armed robberies almost every month in my area at Aguda with bullets falling on our roofs, Lagos was a shït hole till Fashola came to clean it up but the damage had been done. OPC had to come from the trenches to conduct jungle justice on the criminals before they started killing northerners at mile 12 and Ijaws at Ajegunle, I was so afraid for my life seeing that no obvious effort was made to protect we non indigenes.
