The Nigerian Air Force Military Strength (pics And Video) by pocom35(op):
The Nigerian Airforce is an important branch of the armed forces of Nigeria
Formally established in 1964 by an act of parliament. The Nigerian air force has played significant roles in sustaining national security as well as peace keeping missions across the continent of Africa.

Some of which includes
The Nigerian Civil war in 1967
the Sierra Leone civil war in 1991
The first Liberian civil war in 1989
The Northern war in 2012
The Invasion of the Gambia in 2016
And the Boko haram insurgency which is still being battled till date

With the current security challenges in the country. The air force plays a very important role in sustaining peace and national security. This goal can not be met if the force is not well equipped with the necessary platforms to carry out it’s duties

This thread is aim at breaking down and giving full analysis of all the Aircraft currently used by Nigerian Air force.
You be the judge.

Are this sufficient enough to win the war against insurgency.
The measure of the military strength of any Airforce around the world is by studying the number and capabilities of all the fleets of aircrafts in active duty.

Differentiated in 7 categories
From transport aircrafts, UAVs to fighter aircrafts.
These are all the aircrafts used in the Nigerian Airforce in 2022

I was once told that the Nigerian army is equiped to fight a civil war that was way back in the 90s.

All this show of airpower or naval power etc is rubbish when a group of turban wearing and slippers wearing men are occupying local governments and terrorizing Nigerians from the North to the South
