Why do you think they’ve been desperately grabbing prisoners for Wagner recruitment? Why their most elite forces like VDV and Spetznaz are fighting in Ukraine, tied down in Kherson? Why do you imagine they’ve drawn down on Russian soldiers manning the Kuril Islands, from bases at the Finland border and from buffer zones at the Armenia/Azerbaijan border?
