Muslims Marginalization In South-west by Rahman2330(op): 1:08pm On Sep 21, 2022
Good day, honestly speaking, if anyone should cry of marginalization in south west, it should be the Muslims,

In politics, by November, Adeleke will be sworn-in and there will be no Muslim governor in South west
Ekiti and Ondo state are running Christian-Christian Ticket
Ogun State has just one Muslim governor in her history

In Academics
As you Muslim in southwest it's hard to attain any academic height in southwest, it's worst to the extent that most Yoruba Muslims are now going to North for education, I have younger ones that have to go to Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Sokoto from Kwara even with the number of higher institutions in neighbouring states, The Yoruba Christians have dominated every where

Even in religion, many Muslims have being converted to Christianity, if things continue like this, you will be shocked that Muslim population will decline to the lowest, I know many that attended church Universities and end up becoming Christian yet no Christian was ask to convert in Universities based on Islam

That's why we need someone like Tinubu to balance things, since there is no Muslim governor, then Muslim should be represented at presidential levels to bring equity.

If the Christian are fair enough, they should support the Muslims for equity sake

Thank you

They were not asked to convert but Converted willingly. There are some benefits you gain being a Christian (social, exposure, links and connections etc. These Christian you referring to are the PFN members, even the old orthodox churches are losing members to the group. So go tell your people to get their homework done. The southwest Muslims has always benefited from the Northern, since independence, particularly during the military era. The Muslims should exposed and things will change and benefit them.

With the kind of reason I are given that means u are actually empty. Nothing stops a Muslim from winning elections likewise the XTIAN’s. Quit this mentality and have peace . I am not even a Yoruba.
