You're not conversant with the Nigerian power sector if you think Buhari has improved anything . The reason you're seeing light now is because the dams are working in Their full capacity due to raining season and not because of Buhari . The national grid has collapsed is what you're going to be hearing next dry season.
Well, the dams don't supply most power in Nigeria....86% of our power comes from thermal/gas power.....plus they would work at full capacity so long as the reservoir is filled to the brim.

It is when the water level in their reservoir dropped below critical...like after a prolonged drought...which we haven't had in a while...that we would then begin to see power cuts from the dam power supply. (A hypoithetical example would be it does not rain for 9 months from next month....).

Re: Buhari Has Improved Power Supply In Nigeria – Adesina by EZENDIZUOGU(m): 2:10pm On Sep 21, 2022
Dont be deceived, the reason is the increase in volume of water, ones the rainy season stops, we will go back to normal situation.

Almost 24 hrs power in my area now but could it be because of rain
EmiLoKanMyAss:
Will say nothing now till after raining season
So why didn't we enjoy this kind of relatively steady power supply in previous raining seasons?

Racoon:
When the total power generation is not up to 5000MW While Egypt with less population far lesser than Nigeria generates more than what we are celebrating
And whose fault is this?

EmiLoKanMyAss:
We did .. it has always been a seasonal enjoyment sh!t especially during the raining season.
That is an absolute lie. The government has improved power supply and not just due to raining season. Admit it, you wont die.
I've been having average of 20 hrs for several months now.

Insecurity: Recruit 50 million youths into army, Tinubu urges FG

All Progressives Congress chieftain, Bola Tinubu, on Monday, urged the Federal Government to recruit at least 50 million youths into the Nigerian Army to boost Nigeria’s fight against terrorism, banditry and all forms of internal and external security threats confronting the nation.

Tinubu spoke at the 12th colloquium to celebrate his 69th birthday in Kano State.

He said, “We are under-policed and we are competing with armed robbers and bandits to recruit from the youths who are unemployed —33 per cent unemployed?”

“Recruit 50 million youths into the army,” he stated, adding that “what they will eat —cassava, corn, yam, will grow here.”

The APC chieftain, while reacting to recent statistics by the National Bureau of Statistics that over 23 million Nigerians are jobless, also urged the government to create jobs for youths in the agricultural value chains.

He said, “Don’t talk about illiteracy, anybody who can hold a gun, who can handle a gun, who can cock and shoot is technically competent to repair a tractor in the farm.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to ensure continuity of his regime by voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election.

“The forthcoming general elections will provide us with the opportunity to convince the electorate of the need for continuity to enable our party to consolidate on our achievements in the last 7 years,” Mr Buhari said.

The president, according to a statement by his spokesperson Femi Adesina on Friday, disclosed this while receiving a delegation from Nasarawa State.
“The Government and people of Nasarawa State, as usual, have a great role to play in returning our party to governance in the 2023 elections, in order to create a path for greater socio-economic growth and development.

“This is not only important for Nigeria alone but also for the West African Sub-Region,” the president was further quoted as saying.

At the peak of dry season, there's always a drastic drop in the volume of water in the dams in northern Nigeria, that's why there's always a drop in the hrs of power supply per day . But if you feel Buhari has attended some watt to the national grid you can state The particular power plant the boost is coming from . You can aswell compare the hours of power supply per day as to what you will get in dry season if no new power plant is added to improve the the wattage.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday unfolded its power agenda should it presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, be elected.

The party plans to generate at least 20,000 megawatts (mw) of electricity in four years to surpass Nigeria’s consumption level of around 15, 000mw.

In a statement, the party’s Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCPCO) expressed dismay that the Federal Government under President Goodluck Jonathan had only added 1.400mw to the national grid in four years.

How many megawatt was add to the grid. I think that's how you measure improvement.

I was at Ikeja everybody was using gen when I have light at home.

The industries and company that needs it the most so they don't spend on diesel to power their machines are not getting enough power.
