Basically, current renewable energy tech isn't designed to be used on an industrial scale Hence why it have been a challenge for Germany and has mostly failed to make a real impact

Only geothermal can rival hydro in renewable energy ability to be used as base load though it's still very expensive....hydro power investment should be top priority... getting grand inga dam in Congo would fix many countries problems in Africa
