RepoMan007:I never insulted you. You are the one being emotional. Use your brain to convince people and not going about insulting people. You need to stop being emotional. Be open minded, if you want to learn. If my point is out of place, why would NATO travelled thousands of kilometer from Europe to Libya to help anti-govt coalition fight against Gaddafi govt? Or while would Turkey invaded Cyprus to annexed Northern Cyprus? Or why are the Biafrans calling for foreign help to actualise independence? Or why would NATO support a group (Kosovo) of people in Serbia to gain independence. This is the world we live in. It is not fair. But It has happened in the past and it will continue to happen. |

An article by MWM claims that NATO is running out of T-72 tanks - The article claims that Western countries have almost run out of T-72 tanks. Now they have to transfer T-55-based combat vehicles to Ukraine, for which the Ukrainian Armed Forces have no ammunition. It is specified that at the moment NATO intends to supply Kiev with Slovenian M-55 tanks, built on the basis of the Soviet T-55. These vehicles are equipped with a NATO-standard 105mm cannon, for which Ukraine has no ammunition - claims Military Watch Magazine

jimetagambo:Whether or not they're acting under the instruction of whomsoever is not the concern here but rather if what they were doing is right or wrong and if they speak against what they did when the narrative doesn't suit them............... Nonetheless,, UN resolutions has to do with the number of allies a country has and If US for instance supports anything, she is likely to get the needed votes to execute it because of her number of allies,,, so imagine the joint NATO supporting something... Automatically means they'll get it approved. UN isn't built on what's right or wrong but rather who is stronger, got more influence and has more allies.... That's why they only act against the weak. |

Mattswaggz:So we should be swallowing lies on Nairaland and also lower our levels of intelligence becuase someone is trying to make some point. I have refrained from Nairaland for a while because of BS like this, but I just had to call this out. Jimetagambo was right to question that post. |

Goodvibes007:I am used to them here. They like to use diversionary tactics/deflection to dodge question that will expose their ignorance. South Africa (a friend of Russia voted yes), Nigeria voted yes, Lebanon (a friend to Iran) voted yes. Germany, (a friend of the) US abstained which Angela had already made known before voting. UAE and Qatar (both arab countries like Libya) took part in the no fly zone military operation.

jimetagambo:Do you not know or you are being ignorant of US pressures on countries if they want a resolution passed in the UN security council? Did you know US went ahead to fight in Vietnam without UN approval and nothing happened? Many countries have become so dependent on US and WEF AIDS that they will only dance to whim and Caprice of the US. The south Korean leader was recently caught on hot mic calling the US congressmen "F**kers" if they do not pass a recent gigantic AID promised to them by Biden. The Russian military will annihilate Ukraine and nothing will happen too because they are also a super power and have in abundance what other countries don't have.. The Proxy war was fought in Vietnam with NATO/South Vietnam against SCO/North Vietnam.. You know who won! Expect such victory happening again.. |

Ukraine receives NASAMS from United States – Zelensky |
| Re: Gov. by jimetagambo: 8:06pm On Sep 25, 2022*. Modified: 8:25pm On Sep 25, 2022 |
paafin:You are the one ignorant here. When the UN resolution 2321 and 2371 was passed in favour of the US to impose more sanctions on North Korea, according to you, the USA must have put pressure on Russia and China to vote on their side, or I guess China and Russia are also dependent on US Aids. Ps: the aid to fight Malaria, HIV and tuberculosis was not promised to South Korea. It's a global fund that receives donation from several countries including China and Korea, where shithole countries majorly from Africa benefit from since that's where the diseases mentioned are endemic and entrenched. So what was your point exactly? And after US invaded Vietnam, was the USA victorious? If the US was not victorious, what gives you the assurance that Russia too would come out victorious in their war and invasion of Ukraine? |
| Re: Gov. by jimetagambo: 8:28pm On Sep 25, 2022 |
In addition, many countries that depends on aid from the USA have voted a good number of times against resolutions favouring the US. How do we address that. Haha. They must have forgotten about the aid that the USA promised them. |

Because Russia is fighting for something fundamental to its existence in Ukraine. If Ukraine falls to the west and the Donna's civilians are slaughtered, Russia will have a refugee crisis and the west can easily attack them from there. jimetagambo: |

Today a Russian fighter jet and a helicopter that came to rescue the pilot were shot down in Ukraine. Most likely the Ukrainians have started to activate the advanced NASAMS anti-aircraft system provided to them by the US. |
