He used the language while speaking among his kinsmen. It was appropriate in the context of his speech.

People can misinterpret words and intentions! Tinubu meant Emilokan as it's my turn to be presidential candidate in the APC ONLY; not as president of Nigeria! People who seem to be confused about this can revisit the video. Even a child could feel the gang-up against Tinubu's ambition within the APC, a party he gave so much to both as a co-founder and builder! So if Utomi who's much versed in the Yoruba language now pretends otherwise, that's his problem. We know where he's coming from and only a fool would expect him to support Tinubu's ambition when his kontriman too is on the ballot. Didn't he step down for Peter Obi when he was pressured by their clans people? How could that have ever happened if he was asked to step down for a Yoruba, even one of the most intimately attached of his Yoruba in-laws? But to deliberately skew meanings and intentions is devilish and wicked, I dare say. As for Utomi wishing Tinubu death, there have been countless occasions when the large Iroko tree was swept off by a storm whilst the feeble pepper tree remained firmly rooted. A deciduous tree may yet wither and die earlier than a dried tree which naturally has the expectation of early death by the kind of people who now wish that Tinubu should be out of the way for their kinsman to have an easy passage to Aso Rock villa. Or, why this inordinate fixation on Tinubu and not Atiku or Kwakwanso or Sowore?

Utomi should keep quiet I have known utomi to be contesting for president now as far as 1999. What has he achieved....nothing. What contributions has he contribute to the growth of the nation ..nothing.
Where he built his school in Olokonla-Ajah is courtesy of Tinubu.
The school is for the elites not meant for the poor.

I hope the shock of not giving him presidency won't hurt him much.
Tinubu is just like maybe your old sick grand father wants to by force drive the family on a sienna car from Lagos to Abuja

Who no go fear to allow him. He go just sleep on the highway and crush us to maybe death.

Baba we love you but you can't drive us. Just stay in the car as a veteran and gove your wise advise if you really love the family.

But Peter Obi jumping ship in desperation and bribing people to get presidential ticket is good for politics? When people make bold statements of intent, there’s nothing wrong in it. It shows that the person knows his onions and believes in his ability to deliver. That’s a positive attitude.

Ambition is desperation in your perverted mind. Since Tinubu left govt. In 2007 till date, he has not contested for any elective post.

How they believe their lies is what i dont understand.

Buhari s failings was not primarily because of his health issues, it was because he could not deliver what was not available to his capability.

Fact...

Bcoz is it for garri.

Dodo

Ewa

Cassava

Still trying to I understand...

Nigeria cannot afford or withstand someone coming for inheritance with her current situation.

Best option, he needs bed rest.

Or he should run 100meters.

Running a country affairs is not be inheritance but by competence.

Health wise and Age.

He is not capable.

And his followers can't tell em the bitter truth bcoz of what they tend to get from him and I won't blame them much

Pat Utomi should stay in Anambra for a month so he can enjoy Obi's achievements. By the time he's back to Lagos, he will appreciate Tinubu.

His followers know the truth but are scared to tell him bcoz of what they will eat.

Him contesting is like a sick patient cripple been told to hawk pure water in traffic.

phemmie06:
Tinubu is doing the right thing because he believes it is his turn to become president but Nigerians should be wise enough and let him know that Nigeria is different from UK that the heir to the throne is already known and not contestable.
Nigerians should be able to tell him to take care of his health as well.
Bottom line we need a physically sound person

Abuse, abuse, and insults all the way! Continue to insult "his senseless urchins", se o gbo? Just the votes of your five States will see Obi through. The thing is, never let your Bingo return to its vomit by coming back to plead for Yoruba votes. But can you?

With all due respect, Pat Utomi should shut up. As someone who has spent donkey years in Yoruba land, and has lived among Yorubas, if he doesn't understand the context in which Emilokan was used, then his education is a waste.

On another note, we are waiting for the macabre drama of accusations and counter accusations that will happen between him and his current "I no dey give shishi" buddy after the election, so he should save his energy.
mr Eko ede yoruba,, what's the meaning of emi lokan in tinubu's context?
