This beautiful standard stadium was built from the scratch by Governor Udom Emmanuel to engender sports developments at the grassroots, the stadium will be formally unveiled on Friday September 30th, at 3pm.

It will be followed by a novelty match between Akwa United and Katsina United by 4pm.

E be like say Akwa Ibom and Rivers na states outside Nigeria. Others are playing catch-up.

While we're still savouring the beauty and elegance of the Uyo township stadium, this again.

Meanwhile some states don't even make headlines you wonder if they are in this country.

Nice.

I think our leaders need to start building stadiums that can sustain it's self, I mean building stadium with other facilities like a gallery, museum, eateries, mall and other things that would generate money for the maintenance of the stadium.

Governor Udom Emmanuel is the Real Mr Projects in the south south region if we want to be deceiving ourselves here, he has done extremely well in infrastructural development. Wike never build stadium through out his 7 years in government. The good people of Akwa Ibom State will give Pdp and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar the 100% supports it deserved on February 25th, 2023 and March 11, 2023 governorship Election. Congratulations to Atiku/Okowa in advance. Atiku/Okowa everywhere you go.

Nice facility. The race tracks aren't necessary though. No national or international athletic championship will be hosted in Eket in the lifetime of this stadium, so why install it?

If they don't build the tracks where will local talents train? Our people need to be exposed at early stage to standard facilities like this one, it boosts their morale, builds confidence and produces a better crop of athletes. Every facility must not be built primarily for international tournaments, how many of such can one country have the opportunity to host in one decade?

u threw punch @my state, my Kwara has good staduim & facility. this present governor has been rehabilitating it. assuming the way he is doing things is the way others governor have been doing, kwara wont have been in this mess. I always wonder y they dont make headlines too. let me give u one headline, we have new CP in the state & there have been structures of mansions, biz hub,warehouses & new shops been built in the state. LOL!

I sincerely appreciate the Governor for his kind support for the wonderful and welcoming development project's in place...I say a very big thanks to God for giving him the opportunity and zeal...I’m on field work and research projects.
I embarked on a leisure trip for sightseeing tour just to see things myself as seeing is believing though...Kindness and support still go a long way
