It is a don deal. Edo PDP is stewing in the mess it created for itself in a bid to take a shortcut back to Government House in Edo State. They saw a traitor drowning and decided to offer him a life line at the cost of their organic structure thinking they were spitting Oshiomhole and Tinubu. Even Wike who carried matter on his head has been reeling from Obaseki's ingratitude. When they say the enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend, some don't understand it. Here it is.

You people are just overestimating Wike. Wike influence starts and end in Obio/Akpor. Even if he seal a deal with Tinubu, Wike cannot deliver Rivers state to Tinubu.

Will Wike compel me and my family to vote Asiwaju? The era of Abracadabra is over. Wike's career is significantly tied to the flawed nature of our electoral system. In the absent of rigging, Wike is nobody politically.

Wike's approval level is at its lowest ebb right now in Rivers state. Rivers people are tired of his clueless leadership style. They are waiting to pass a vote of no confidence on his candidate come next year's election.
