Their fault to an extent. Many of them bought land and built houses on water channels with chikini money Lokoja is a Confluence, it's expected to bear the most consequence in a year of heavy rainfall like this, dams will be released to the Niger and Benue even Govt haven't done much on this menace.

Someone who is living in this area might be a nairalander laughing when the military kill and destroy properties in the East. Someone living in Owerri might be laughing seeing these people's houses underwater and tomorrow his own house might catch fire.

Nigerians should learn to show empathy when misfortune gets to other people. We're humans first before tribe.
