I have lived in Cameroon for the past five years,made 3million already,my brother wants to give me another two million to come back and start something doing in Nigeria..and I'm choosing between Abuja and Lagos.
please what lucrative business can one start in Abuja or Lagos?

If you end up in Lagos, identify and sell a fast moving consumer product. Marginal profit but good turnover and consistent demand.

If you chose another city then identify a special product in Lagos and import it into the state. Pls ensure that it is a product that has potential for tremendous growth.

Of course fabrics is good. But understand that the growth in fabrics to an appreciable turnover will take some time.

I wasn't actually thinking of fabrics when I suggested FMCG. I was tinkering with consumables like food and snacks. Eggs for instance has a high growth potential. Indeed there are technicalities which you can learn as you go along but the turnover will make you want to dance Skelewu.

Bread is another wonderful product and I should know. Despite the inconsistencies in prices of raw materials bread still remains the cheapest food product in the market as of today. The profitability in this business is unprecedented. The risk is very minimal and ROI is like every 24 hours. Best of all the initial capital outlay is small. 10% of your entire capital is more than enough for you to launch out. I have written a thread on bread distribution here on Nairaland. Yes we can but we should limit the discourse to this thread/platform. Others can make their contributions and a lot more others can also learn. You must however note that I don't have appreciable expertise in eggs. There is a thread on Egg distribution .....probably a but dated but it could provide useful guidance for starting out.
