It looks like an excellent platform. With Russia currently in comatose, I think the Indian industry would be one of the primary beneficiaries of Russia's incompetent handling of the war in Ukraine.

Hopefully we get to see the Nigerian army flying Ind... military helicopters in the near future.

If things go same as with Rudra than good,
Rudra around 90 in service with current orders around 75, more orders expected in future

If it fulfills NA op reqs and budget than definitely hoping it happens

Generally underwater targets are detected by acoustic sensors ( hydrophones) which use sound waves travelling in water , but unfortunately it is not always reliable due to background noise etc

Drdo has developed optroelectronic sensors to detect underwater targets , basically light (laser) is being used , it doesn't suffer from the inherent drawbacks of acoustic sensors

To be used for sea bed surveillance arrays , mid ocean moored surveillance sensors etc

From now on LCH official name is Prachand

Regarding Rudra it seems there is a pause , unfortunately these kind of deals take their own sweet time, unpredictable and can easily fail, given the no of competitors , so let's see
