The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, says the female orderly of former Vice President and PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar's wife, Titi, will be sanctioned for carrying her bag at an event.

It's high time our officers are made to respect their uniforms, even when they're attached to VIPs.

The NPF itself must include it in the terms of attachment that their officers must NOT be made to do anything outside of security services.

We've seen them holding umbrella for Chinese expats, carrying bags for politicians wives etc, all these have to stop!

Nigerian police officers don't have any value. Na dem dey first japa if there's an attack, so, it's best to convert them to house help in order to justify their pay.

I don't think they "japa" as you said. There are definitely bad eggs and cowards in every force, even in the army, but I have seen bold officers, especially MOPOLs, standing up to armed robbers and showing gallantry.
