Please, I have been trying for months to get a current account as reference in other to open a domiciliary account. But, I can't seem to find any. The one I managed to find was a salary account.

Is there anyone that can help me with a UBA current or domiciliary account as a reference? This thing has affected my business so much.

I was shocked to discover that most people I know use savings-account including salary earners.

No, it must not. Thank you for reaching out. The reason why I specified the bank it's because it takes the recieving bank some time to clear a current account that is not registered with them.

Meet those marketer bankers, tell them you don't have references, and they would sort you out.

Thanks for the offer brother. I just settled and submitted my form (via bank marketers). They asked me to come back on Wednesday (Monday and Tuesday are public holiday).

If you care, you can flash my line, I would transfer 500 recharge card. Since 9am to 4pm I have been doing this thing (because my BVN has issues, was going to court and NIN office).

Talk to the marketers in the banking hall. Tell them the nature of your job and that you're not into fraud and that you need help with getting references. They can help and that's the easiest way. Create Providus Bank Naira account. You can use their platinum naira card for international transactions at a better black market rate ( lower than chipper Cash)
