forget the dead left wing, the honest truth is that dembele isn't good enough, or isn't of the required level. He shits his pants when he's needed most. The only time Barca really pushed for RB was with Foyth and dude later got injured just when Barca was almost getting an agreement with Villarreal. So we all knew na backup sure pass and that was close to when the transfer window came to an end. There wasn't enough time for scouting.
Alba's position was a dependable back up then next season we go for proper personnel.
