Yes it should be prosecuted through the court but tax evasion is a criminal offence and not a civil matter.

Industrial disputes are civil matter that should be handled by court but no, my black brothers want answers ASAP, no regard for due process.

One thing is clear, Dangote will be fine heads or tail same as Kogi state governor. But for the workers whom are about to lose their jobs because of the stand off, may God be with you and grant you the wisdom to prevail.

That cement factory started off as Kogi Cement Company and dangote according to findings use the C of O of the land which belong to kogi state to take a loan of over 60billion for construction then turn around to claim the company to be his own....no paper document to show any agreement anywhere that he purchased the factory from kogi state...Dangote have been dodging and now trying to use association as a front to get pity...!!!

Dangote should go to kogi and show the paper that show clearly he is the owner of the company simple...!! Why all these talk from both sides of his mouth...? He thought he is invisible after riding on the back of this nation to become a billionaire via shady business activities...!!

Can't you see that what the state want is more than tax, they are with one side of the mouth (fanwo actually) saying tax evasion an on the other side of the mouth saying it is theirs.

Im not in support of closure of the plant because of mega loses to all concerned but i will take my views from a different perspective;

1. This is resolvable in a boardroom

2. What is Dangote Group shying away from

3. Has the Dangote Group defaulted on the terms of agreement prior to take over and expansion of the plant.

4. Does Yaha Bello want a percentage of the plant's earning directly to himself.

5. Are investor interests clashing with the state?

6. The taxes are not hidden and conflicts in payment are resolvable by representatives of both parties.

The Dangote Obajana Cement Plant is a strategic plant both to the owners, Kogi State Government and the nation at large.

All parties involved should thread with caution.

DANGOTE GROUP should declare a FORCE MAJEURE on the plant for now pending resolution of this dispute.

Acts that can impact its share price should be avoided and lots of businesses will be impacted directly or indirectly negatively.

Finally when you give arbitrary waivers or surpress competitors, this is what you get.

Mr man it is better for the Company to be in d hands of private individuals rather than the government because in terms of Continuity and job creations.Even if the state government reclaim it the company will still shutdown due to negligence
