It's not that hard for those that memorized 2X - 9X multiplication tables.

The golden rule is to multiply from left to right and round up then subtract or add e.g 48X3 = 50X3 = 150 - 6 (the 2 that was added to 48 multiplied by 3) = 144.

This won't give you that kind of speed. This is the methodology I use but will usually take some few seconds
