Unknown assailants have murdered a top Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) officer popularly known as Shaba, at a bar in Nkwo Market, Igbo Ukwu, Aguata LGA of Anambra State.

The attackers were said to have driven to a stop at the bar, highlighted the vehicle in commando style and opened fire on the two orderlies of the vigilante boss manning the entrance of the bar before proceeding to shoot dead the AVG head inside.

While some claim that the AVG Boss was part of the Ebubeagu personnel terrorising communities in the Southeast, some others claim that the killing was carried out by members of a kidnapping ring whose leader was busted by Shaba's team some time ago.

This should be their last straw.

Killing of our own Vigilante Group cannot be tolerated at all.

That each town in Anambra is relatively calm is because of this vigilantees that were set up by Obi during his time.

Each town has thiers.

We won't tolerate this development from this miscreants

Misleading headline. The Anambra Vigilante boss is alive and well. The AVS is still capturing IPOB terrorists in the state and dealing with them in the language they understand.

They should also capture herdsmen that chased a whole local government to Benin republic and deal with them in the language they understood. Till date our Western brothers are running like fugitives, so not to be killed by herdsmen
