The Ukrainian troops deployed to the East/South before the war were more than 100k, they were trained by NATO for years. They were Ukraine best troops. Today, they have been reduced (killed/injured/captured) to almost nothing. They were badly decimated. About 15k-20k of the troops were reduced to about 2k before they surrender in Mariupol.

Don't forget that Ukraine has done full mobilization 4times. The war has been costly for them.

Negotiation is the best option. Well, I wish them good luck.

Russia sought a secret vote to ensure all UN members expressed their positions freely under Western pressure
The UN General Assembly has adopted a non-binding resolution accusing Moscow of an “attempted illegal annexation” and calling on member states to ignore the results of referendums in four former eastern Ukrainian regions to join Russia.

Pakistan:221m (I'm surprised they didn't vote against Russia, some people may opine that it may be a trap, but then, there are countries that voted in support of the West to deceive and distract the West from plans to backstab and betray the West at the 11th hour by those countries. Pakistan may be doing the same thing to Russia).

X+Y= population of Countries that voted against the resolution/ were indifferent.
Z(global population) = 7.9b
Z - (X+Y) = 7.9 - 4.4 = 3.5b
In summary, Russia has the support of the majority of the global population(according to this resolution) and in reality.
The global population is estimated to be 7.9b, Russia has the support of 4.4b people (according to this resolution) and the West can scramble for the 3.5b (based on the results of this resolution)

The US normally send her soldiers to war she has already won. When you impose arms embargo on your enemy to make sure that they don't get weapon from the international market (except black market) and at the same time impose economic sanctions to make it impossible to fund a war. Then you have already conquered your enemy.

The Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya e.t.c don't have 3rd generation fighter like Ukraine to protect their skies or do they have S-300 or BUK to protect their skies. There Military is not as capable as Ukrainian military. Although they have men that are ready to die and fight endlessly. But they don't have sophisticated weapons some weak (militarily) countries in Europe have. They are masters of guerilla warfare because they have not choice. They are not capable of fighting conventionally.

Ukraine is a developed country (compare to Iraq & Afghanistan). Almost all the regions in Ukraine are developed. There are urban areas everywhere in Ukraine. The more urban area a country has, the more you will loose soldiers when you are in a war with such country. In Mariupol for example, the Russians fought building by building. This is the reality of urban warfare. When you have to clear a building, then move to the next without the help of your air force. US ground forces rely heavily on air force. Anytime they face strong resistance, they call on air strikes. You can't do this in an urban area. In Iraq and Afghanistan apart from their capital and may be their second largest cities. The rest are desert. Russia went in with insufficient troops and miraculously they manage to stay in the fight. I believe that after the war, the Western media will tell us how courageous the Russians are. Israel lost a lots of their soldiers when invaded the capital of Lebanon, mostly in the urban area.

I strongly believe that no country in the West will choose to fight in Ukraine in this kind of situation. So comparing the US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq with Russian invasion of Ukraine unfair.
Ukraine is a developed country yet you forget all their weapons and air defence are Russian(ussr) platforms of which Russia surely knows the weakness this fight should have actually been a walk in the park, Russia bleeped up in their logistics which should have been the easiest aspect of their operation considering its was at their backyard imaginge fighting from a country far away........you said earlier Ukraine did mobilization 3 times i don't think it's true, as there are no sources to back this..... i asked you how many soldiers do you think Russia as lost seems you missed this, hope to hear from you soon thanks

- Shocking, Serbia voted against Russia during the invasion and against the annexation.

- Bangladesh, Angola, Djibouti, Morroco, Senegal, Iraq, and Madagascar, all changed from neutrality (March 2) to YES (Oct 12). Eritrea went from NO to YES.

- India and China stayed neutral as expected (chop and clean mouth).

- Basically, 96.5% voted against Russia.
