XerXers:
If you had to borrow before you can buy something it simply means you couldn't afford it. Okupe is 100% correct. The trains are now running at a loss
So, if GT Bank borrows to acquire additional microfinance bank to boost its revenue line, it simply means GTB can't afford it.

You need to grow up as we are talking of infrastructure here.

Is this modern to you?

I assume the interviewer meant light-speed rail (bullet trains), of which China is the only country that has built significant amounts. China has recently stopped building them. Their economic value hasn't been proven to justify their cost in the long run.

The railway system being built in Nigeria today is okay, so far as it is maintained and secured. This thread is pure sensationalism. I don't think the interviewer understood her own question, she needs to define what she meant by 'modern' first.
Try and listen again. She said "the coaches are second hand why not brand new ones"

We became world capital of poverty under this administration, this administration has borrowed the most loan in nigeria history combined.
What are you saying?
Probably they're not channelling it the right way.

Zydote:
This has been proven to be false as seen with the Lagos-Ibadan railway trains
We took loans obviously to buy them and now the trains are breaking down cos they are substandard and also running at losses meaning the debt cannot be paid for from the train revenue.

Doyins maths was actually on point.

Do you have to be an insider to know the state of nigeria and the economy?

They borrowed money, you can't claim to know if it is rightly used or not unless you are part of the executioners.

They borrowed money for the country not insiders.
This is lame.
If the effect of the loan is working, everyone will see it not “insiders”.
The whole country will pay the loans back, not “insiders”.

PDP/APC didn't find anything to demarket Peter Obi they now shifted to Doyin Okupe, let me ask again is Doyin Okupe contesting for the post of President?

Vote Peter Obi for President.

Meanwhile at a good rate sell your Pi π to us.
Is Buhari not personally/privately perceived to be a good man? But what happen when he was surrounded by cabal and wolfs in human clothing.
A successful Obi government would be a circus of good people coming together to uphold same good objectives.
They should be subject to scrutiny independently. Governance should not be a trial and error thing.
We've seen the negative effect of cabal in Buhari's government.
