He hasn’t taken anything too far. It’s only PdP folks that will say this. Wike and co removed Secondus and supported Ayu because they expected PDP presidential ticket to come to the south and he knows that it wouldn’t be possible with Secondus as chairman. It was the same period southern governors resolved that the ticket should come to the south. So it was only normal to change the national chairman if that was going to be an obstacle.

To tell you that PDP is a party of fraudulent people, they refused to zone the presidential ticket after they moved the national chairman to the north. They weren’t brave enough to tell Nigerians they want to field a northern candidate. They knew with Ayu as chairman, if they had zoned like they always did in the past, they would be forced to zone the ticket to the south. The party’s northern elites ensured they kept the ticket open and forced Tambuwal to resign for Atiku on the convention day. Smart move, yh? No doubt, that was a political move but you can’t f***king have your cake and eat it. You can’t be so insincere and all of a sudden expect peace when you have gotten what you want, all in the name of the party comes first. Are others fools? If Wike and co had known PDP will not zone their ticket, I’m sure they’d have allowed Secondus or another Southerner continue as national chairman.

Now you have all key party positions going to the North and you want leaders from the other region to work and deliver votes to you.

That said, APC just made matter worse with the same faith ticket. First, PDP has a candidate that is not trustworthy. Secondly, they have played political games to alienate the section of the country that kept them relevant after their 2015 loss. I’m sure many people would have happily voted for APC if they had presented a balanced ticket. Because at the end of the day both parties are the same and if you have only two options, you want to pick the lesser devil. Atiku can never be the lesser devil.

Why do you think so many people have jumped on the Obi bandwagon? They see him as a better alternative to the candidates of the top two parties.

Gov Wike, no saner person excepts you to back Atiku Abubakar who came into the presidential race this time purposely to ensure that no southern Nigerian from PDP succeeds president Buhari.
When Atiku played the role of VIP in President Buhari's daughter's wedding was the period the plan was hatched to exclude a southerner from PDP to succeed President Buhari. After all, Atiku knows that it's like an insurmountable task for a Northern Fulani Muslim to succeed another Fulani Muslim as president in contemporary Nigeria.

We have federal character principle in the Constitution. The south has endured QUOTA SYSTEM for ages.

Can we talk about the succession plan of the Rivers state? Atleast if Wike is fighting for equality in Nigeria he should start from his state, as they say charity begins at home.
