Kante was not rush to play remember he has all the holiday to rest and did not travel for any pre-season.
He was fully fit before he played.

You need to agree Kante's leg is finding it difficult to run like before.
His appearance for us has been reducing year on year for the past four seasons (minus covid altered season)
Last season he only start 31 matches out of 62 matches we played which is exactly 50%.

And this season he look like missing more because with the look of things he will only start 2 in our first 20 matches.

The 2 years + optional 1 year is a very good deal for him, couple with the fact that he will be 32 before the contract begins.

Agreed but Chelsea and Kante are still working on the deal. Chelsea wants to keep him and he also wants to stay.

Last last, Kante will remain in Chelsea.

Am not saying that kante can't play Dm..we all knows that j5 na traditional Dm..that a player is versatile doesn't mean he don't have a prefered position..Kdb..silva played false9 for city..does that mean they are now strikers
