RepoMan007:I have mentioned everything that needed to be mentioned. I said wages in the West is greater than in Russia. But at the same time. The cost of living in Russia is far lesser than in the West. The cost of transportation, food, electricity, internet, fuel, education, health care e.t.c are extremely cheap in Russia. Things are not the same in the West. Russians pay extremely lower tax compare to extremely high tax they pay in the West. So in my opinion the standard of living in Russia is not significantly different from the West. If you are paying less for education and you are getting good education and also pay less for health care and you are getting good health care. You pay less for gas, fuel, electricity, transportation, internet e.t.c. What else can you ask for. Western media only talk about human right issues in Russia. They also talk about Putin and the Oligarchs. I have never seen anywhere in the Western media where they say Russians are suffering. Please prove me wrong. |

Regex:The EU/NATO are aware of the blunder they committed. But there is no going back, because they have committed themselves heavily already. They are at a point of no return. They now realise that the cheap Russian gas and oil they are the bedrocks of their strong economy. Germany used to be the gas hub for Russian gas. Yesterday Turkey and Russia signed an agreement to build gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey. Thereby turning Turkey into a new gas hub. Now, you will see how Turkey will be transformed in years to come. Watch out for Turkey. |

RepoMan007:There are pro-West in Russia. The Alex Navanni group. They believe in the limitless freedom the Westerners enjoy. They are clamouring for human rights (especially homosexuality) which the government can not give them. Russia is against LGBTQ. So most of them are leaving base on human right issues. When Russia announce partial mobilisation, most of the pro-West fled the country immediately. |

olugabbie:So you admit Putin suppressing opinion in Russia. Such a fellow can never truly represent the people but few oligarchs eating fat. If LGBT was a major reason for the escape, it would have happened more slowly and randomly and not resulted in flights out if Russia being totally booked. The harsh conditions couples with death staring them in the face in Ukraine is making them leave. No stories needed. |
| Re: Gov. by olugabbie(m): 12:41pm On Oct 15, 2022 |
RepoMan007:The Russians are orthodox Christians. There is a serious ties between the church and the government. So there is no room for LGBTQ in the country. There are no report about Russia fleeing the country before the war. It only started after the war broke out. The Western media made us feel like Putin is the only one who make decisions. This is absolutely impossible. Russia is not a democratic state. It is socialist state, the government control almost everything. |
