The north will serve Tinubu the same breakfast they served olu falae in 1999.

The Yoruba party (AD) formed alliance with APP on the lead up to the 1999 election. On election day the north voted pdp in presidential and voted APP in senate, house of rep, governorship.

This is what will happen next year. PDP will win the presidential election in most states but APC will retain their structure in the states.

Tinubu will lose majority of the key states in the north.. Atiku has more name recognition than Tinubu.

APC under performance in the north combined with Tinubu Muslim Muslim.. Will walk against him

In 1999, the North made a whole decison that the Presidency should go to the south-west because of what happened to Abiola. Every politicians across all tribe adopted it, except the igbos. They (the igbos) ended up contesting the primaries with both obasanjo and olu falae in their respective parties.

Obasanjo defeated Ekwueme or what is his name again. And olu falae defeated another igbo persons too in his primary.

Both obasanjo and Olu falae contested the1999 presidential election against each other. And Obasanjo won.


So how does the North backstab Olu falae like you stated? Most of you are either dumb or cr*zy.. You should stick to school, politics is not for you.


It is even laughable when the igbos bragged that they supported a yoruba in 1999 to become president, that they voted for him.

Flat-heads, only two yoruba's contested. So where is the suppport there. You have no fvckimg choice. Infact most of the igbos either didnt turnup or boycotted the election totally because they lost the primaries even after everybody had agreed to let the presidency go to the south-west.

You guys were crying before the APC presidential primary that Jagaban will be humiliated, that the north will abandon him, with all sorts of naive political permutations.. But look at it!

They only pledged their allegiance to the party. Not the people or candidate contesting under it.

So it is damn wrong to always attribute the successes of any candidate that ran under the PDP to the 'igbos support'.


They supported the party not the candidate. Reason why prior to 2015, anybody contesting under the PDP in south-east has a 95% sure winning hope.

Why are you contracting yourself sir ? You said the elections at that period was massively rigged for the PDP! Again you said the south east which is traditionally PDP stronghold normally gives the PDP block votes( this your statement already agrees with what I was saying).

Which kind post be dis one sef? 1999 was offered to southwest on a platter of gold, the major political parties all chose Yoruba candidates so it was a game of who knew politics more among brothers. Obasanjo was a better politician and he won Olu Falaye that's all. He did his 8 years and gave power to the north (Late. Umaru), unfortunately Umaru died and Ebele took over with the support of the North, he even won reelection against the almighty Buhari back in 2011 with the support the same North. Buhari formed alliance with the southwest in 2011 to push Ebele out which was a smart move by him. It is only morally right for him to return the favor after his tenure which he has done, though I wish and pray APC nor PDP doesn't win this time around.

I never attributed the successes of Obasanjo and Yaradua to igbos sir. I’m only correcting the notion which most people normally say here that igbos only support their candidates. The truth is we are both saying the same thing at the end sir.

You made mention of 'igbos supporting obasanjo massively in 2003, snd yaradua in 2007.

Reason why tackled the notion of yours by saying igbos never rendered their support to the candidates aforementioned but the Party, PDP.

If Yoruba present Jesus n God as president candidate n a third that is not Yoruba is on the ballot n he is even the devil Igbos will give you brand new excuse to vote that devil. You have no idea how bitter hatefilled your tribe is.
