Hmm Government should do the needful. Forcing them to suspend strike doesn't mean things will change. Who teaches on empty stomach?! There are three duties/responsibilities of lecturers. 1) Teach 2) Ancillary services 3) Research. No lecturer is promoted on (1) Teach. While on strike, only number (1) was not carried out. If the government decides not to pay the arrears. They may be justified but on resumption, 2022/2023 will begin.....so what happens to this year?! Since they claim they aren't paid for it and would work the months paid. Yet, billions are being stolen daily The matter is still in the court. Let's see how it will pan out. 1 Like |
