Dear if people wait for government to do everything they will continue to suffer

In my community as a landlord we make yearly contributions to community development. We don’t wait for government. We have several accounts we make compulsory payment to yearly. Most landlords in my area aren’t rich yet they struggle to contribute yearly.

We contribute for power , road construction, security among others. Recently our transformer blown off, the power account we already saved up 2.3 m over the years, the fund was use to fix the power issue. if we don’t have such fund we will be in darkness for years long waiting for government to come to our aid. Same thing goes to road. We fix our road ourselves.

Only Awolowo Road? Then that is excellent. Have you seen Anambra governed by Peter Obi? Half of Anambra has been submerged in flood. Even Peter Obi cannot go to his home in Anambra. He is hiding in Lagos and other northern states.
Lagos is a coastal city and it’s expected as other coastal cities across the world to experience flooding. If it’s only Awolowo Road you guys can bring up then Lagos has done well.
