This only shows that the decision is not widely accepted among CAN, don't also forget that political parties has all religions and tribes as their members. They should have kept silent and allow people make their own decisions.

That also shows how incompetent the leadership of CAN is. When a few bigots sit down in a room to make a decision for a national body of christians, what do you expect?

I like the fact that the man came out to put the whole thing straight, but I'd rather would've preferred he distanced himself from this very PCC for posterity sake,but then it's his choice and he is entitled to it. CAN really need to sit up and know her members pedigree before giving them important positions to avoid such things. The same CAN that says christians should join politics? You don't know what you're saying. Why would you join a party and you will not be active there? Does CAN want christians to join political parties and be dormant there? CAN cannot eat his cake and still want to have it.

In Yoruba land competency is placed above religion. In Osun State during Oyinlola,he and his deputy were christians. Adeleke and his deputy are christians.

God bless you, when I tell people that one of the major reason I didn't support Ademola Adeleke was the religion deceit, someone who have been practicing Christianity right from his childwood would suddenly become Muslim all in the name of Politics and not willingly.

Everyone will never agree to something in any association, some will ever have contrary opinions. it's all about majority, once majority says that this thing is not acceptable, you will abide by it, anything less of that 8s outside the nums.
The man is acting absolutely in disregards to the stand of his association.

The man is a sell out, what does he mean by a personal decision?, when a body has said that no member should be a part of something, and is saying his personal decision. is CAN not made up of persons. if everyone chooses their personal decisions over collective decision, then that calls for anarchy. when you are member of something, you should abide by whatever the association says else, leave the association respectfully. There are no two ways about it, you are no longer a member of an association when you feel you can't abide by the association resolution.
As for Osun state, let Osun state CAN deal with that one.
