You missed the point. What's the reason for trending Phyna everyday? It's so brands and others will want to tap into her clout and by that she will make money.
Eg When Laycon won people like DJ Neptune etc rushed to tap into his clout. Neptune dropped No body ep but promoted the one that had Laycon on it more and even named it Icons remix an eye glass company launched the Icons series and fellow Hms were famzing him. His fans were not trending him every day to gain this.
On the other hand Erica didn't win but her fans trended everyday and by that she was enjoying her own clout, From endorsements to invitations to big shows. I can't forget the day she blew up Ify Kitchen's Twitter handle from a few hundred followers to over 3k followers after Mamador announced that she will be on their show with Ify, even Donjazzy had to tag her to rate Ayra Starr after Ayra was unveiled. She was also being famzed by Housemates and celebrities.
Similar thing happened with Mercy and Tacha etc.
