I believe the police side of the story.

Even if he was detained the police will still hide the truth if they want, "THIS IS NIGERIA"
If truly the suspect was handed over to police while alife then he was killed in revenge of the officers who was killed during the attack.
If Sula think someone is behind the attack then let him
open up to the police and let them do proper investigation.
I don't support the killing of criminals BUT "THIS IS NIGERIA

What order comes from Abuja that they should free the suspect. f you re sure he is the killer, kill him on the spot.

They handed him over to the Police alive, that implies he had been disarmed. Even if he was killed on the spot, it is still fishy. So what is that police PRO saying? Is it logical? Or is he saying that nonsense to protect his job from powers from above? The wicked man even asks those who caught and handed him over alive to come forward, so that they can be dealt with too? This story get k leg. So, some people caught one of the gang members that ambushed Suleiman's convoy, and they couldn't beat the guy and question him, and also make a video...the next thing is to match him to police station. Where is the evidence that they took a suspect to the police station? I'm not supporting Nigerian police, the story just doesn't make sense to me.

Few Nigerians - on learning how military capture terrorists, bring them in and the terrorists are freed or break out of prison only to contribute to the ambush and killing of soldiers - would blame soldiers for next time executing captured terrorists on the spot.

For terrorists, I think it's rather a case of wasting some without need to get information from them or keeping them alive. Some other ones can be kept alive to provide such information but many should be killed.

But on this assassination attempt, the captured suspect is the only chance to get to the root of the matter. Killing him in annoyance or for cover-up was totally wrong.

Please let’s stop this trend already. I know it’s fun to throw jabs at these clergymen (I do this often and particularly towards the thieves among them) because of their fraudulent ventures but never let anybody take your life, at least, not cheaply because I believe even the maker and giver of life would be very mad at you if you ever make yourself a sitting duck for killers. Even the Roman Catholic Pope lives and moves around in one of world’s most fortified buildings and convoys. It’s not a crime to surround oneself with enough security if you find yourself living in hopeless and lawless states like Nigeria. It’s not out of place for someone of his caliber to fortify himself particularly in such a lawless place where human lives do not have even the tiniest of values.
