Manchester United will allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave in the January transfer window, the Sun reports.

But first Ronaldo will sit down for crunch talks with Erik ten Hag on Monday.

The 37-year-old caused fury last Wednesday when he refused to come on as a late substitute against Tottenham.

He then walked down the tunnel and left Old Trafford before the full-time whistle blew.

He was slapped with a ban by Ten Hag – forcing him to sit out of yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea – and fined £720,000.

SunSport revealed Ronaldo may well have played his last game for the Red Devils after burning bridges with any remaining allies at the club.

Ronaldo is under contract until the end of the season, but the Mirror report United are keen to get him off the books as soon as possible.

It would have been fair to say Man U stopped him if they had rejected official bid from any club.

He was linked and offered to Chelsea, Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Marseille, AT.Madrid, Roma, Napoli and Dortmund but they all denied/rejected the chances to sign him and as a matter of fact, neither of these clubs made official bid after denial.

If Man City wanted Ronaldo, they would have paid Juve the asking price. Do not forget Man City was ready to splash £150 million to sign Kane few weeks before Mendes offered Ronaldo to City……24million asking price is small for Man City and it’s certain Ronaldo will guarantee the amount of goals they would likely get from Kane.
