There is a difference between having power and having money.

You might have money and not have power, you might have power and not have money.

People should understand this simple dynamic.

E.g, Dangote is the richest man in Africa but there are salaried government officials in Nigeria and in africa with power who will frustrate dangote bid to get mining licenses for his cement company.

Another example, Hushpuppi had money but didn't have power,even though he tried to buy power, it didn't work to his favour because you cant buy power.

When power and money meets, there are always leverage in place, that is why the term i rub your back, you rub mine is a very popular term used for leverage and also to diffuse tension.

Anybody can get money but power is the hard to get, Power that is bought isnt real power, power is gotten from experience,respect and career growth, money is gotten from anywhere.

Yes, just as Yekini Amoda has gotten his money in crook means. Flying drugs money and Lagos state money all around. In his delusional mind, he thinks that his ill gotten money can get him power but failed to realized it's and illusionary dream.

What you have to understand is this ; their are levels of power and money,
I have have seen Governor's or senators being removed or impeached , this does not mean that they are not powerful but rather it tells us that a higher power has superseded against them .
In summary; power is money and money is power , who ever has money has power and whoever has power has money.

A lawyer without money but has power can send dangote to jail if he brakes the law.

Is kogi state governor richer than dangote but the governor of the state is giving him hard time because he has power.

this is my assertion;
Those people you think that have money but don't have power, they actually have power ,but the level of power which resides in them is not up to that of the person dictating for them , this is to say that power has levels ,grades or stratas, .
Now dangote has economic power which can to some extend influence a political power (like kogi governor) , do you see speed they fed.govt used to reopen his cement company, assuming dangote has no power then the govt.nay never respond or rather so fast.
Economic power , political power, military power, religion power;all these are stratas of power and to some extend they work interchangeably as one can be used to influence the other, and all these power can be gained through money, because someone who has money but lacks political power can still buyover political privileges or titles and someone with political power but lacks money can manage to maneuver economic bearing for his own economic gains .thanks
