Hustle938: I heard se fraudster used to do like that. They would go to pos to make transaction and after that they would go to court to report the transaction they did by themselves as fraudulent. The question here are Did Folakr lost his phone? If not how did the person that did the transaction for hold of his phone or sim to do the transaction? If he did not lost his phone or sim that means he or she knows the person that came to.do the transaction . May be the person was her sister or family member. My advice is that you monitor Folakr to see if she knows the lady that come to do transaction with you. |

I suppose the bank would have called you when someone report your account to them but instead they went and penalized you. Report the matter to a lawyer and see what his or her advice will be I mistakely sent 10K to one account number I reported the matter to Firstbank and CBN nothing was done for refund 1 Like |

okoroemeka: Legally speaking the bank is not authorised to disclose one customer's details to another customer without an express order or authorisation of a court of law. A banker could loose his job for doing this! |

I suspect a crime by relatives. Probably a relative of folake who knows her ATM PIN, took her card but didn't want the trail to lead to her own account and decides to pick it up from a POS. It could also be an arrangement between folake and a female accomplice to use folake's card then folake shows up in bank to reverse the transaction claiming fraud. 1 Like |

This is why POS terminals refuse to collect bank transfers. Never collect bank transfers from someone you don’t know in person as a business owner. 3 Likes |

iiifedimma: How does Peter Obi campaign is connected to POS transaction issue. You mean Obi will resolve the problem for her if he wins? As for me, I don't see any difference between Peter Obi snd the other Career Politicians like Tinubu, Atiku, Kwakeanso etc. going by his records. He has been part of the establishments. Can Peter Obi ignore Obasanjo or disregard his opinion. I wish Nigerians would support a truly new breed. The way you guys are presenting Peter Obi as the Messiah. Some married women who have been unable to conceive for decades will expect the coming of Obi will suddenly lead to their pregnancies. I still stand on my point that Peter Obi will perform far woefully than Buhari. That's if he is lucky to win. We will all be here to review the updates. Those whose trademark is to insult can go ahead. I have no candidate to support because Nigerians are not looking on the direction of those with "departue from the past" 3 Likes |

Kobicove:He received the money. Definitely account owner must have notified the bank when she saw 40k missing from her account. He should be more careful or accept transfers only from people he knows very well which is still risky. |

I know some POS operators that don't accept transfers anymore because of all this nonsense. Very soon they will all stop receiving transfers and do card only transactions, just a matter of time. 1 Like |

1. Take a court order instructing your bank to free the account 2. When kolawale tries to make more enquiry of why he didn't get the funds as requested from the bank, the bank will refer him to that court where you requested a further counter argument and the matter will be settled in court if kolawale was right, he will challenge you to the matter in that court, if he is not right, he will suspend the matter. |

The bank removed the lien after some days . On Wednesday she will be at the police for the case. Nothing concern you for this case . If una go court you go win |
Re: Pos Transaction Problem by blazerzz: 4:50pm On Oct 24, 2022 |
Listen to me carefully everybody. If you’re a POS agent or operate a POS outlet, NEVER EVER ACCEPT TRANSACTIONS (inflow or outflow) FROM NIGERIANS using OPAY, PALMPAY or KUDA BANK ACCOUNTS. Those accounts are the primary accounts of YAHOO BOYS. They are mainly used to divert fraudulent attention away from their mainstream Bank Accounts. If any of your customers cannot transact with their mainstream Bank Accounts (e.g First Bank, GTBank, Access Bank, UBA e.t.c) Tell them to fvck off - otherwise, you’ll land yourself or your business in big trouble. If I’m doing any transactions with anybody and the person dares mention OPAY or KUDA, I immediately block them off and tag them scammers. 95% of every Nigerian (especially from this current generation) has an active genome of fraud, scam & wickedness in their DNA. Yahoo Boys are free to masturbate on my mention.[/quote] 2 Likes |

Hmmm. It's how POS operators are scamming people they will see when customers are the worse set of people. From fake alert, editing withdrawal amount and change it to their desire figures, giving out fake cash etc. No one dare try this with me though. |
