(CNN)The 19-year-old gunman who killed two people and wounded several others at his former high school left a note saying his struggles led to "the perfect storm for a mass shooter," St. Louis police said.

Orlando Harris graduated from Central Visual and Performing Arts High School last year and returned Monday with an AR-15-style rifle, over 600 rounds of ammunition and more than a dozen high-capacity magazines, St. Louis police Commissioner Michael Sack said.

Harris died at a hospital after a gun battle with officers
Investigators found a handwritten note in the car Harris drove to the school. Sack detailed some of the passages:

Tragedy is when you run away from Nigeria to go school abroad cos Nigeria is not safe only to go and be killed in a "safe" country by one over pampered teenage child in a so called school shooting.

Sebi dey tell them,but they won't listen, that's how my cousin got shot in Louisiana in February only 2 months in USA,he survived sha, they have around 40,000 murders every year,why would you think such a place is safe to visit, just this morning an Indian family of 5 including a one year old child got kidnapped and murdered in newyork
