Hi, kids on my street caught these fishes in a stream close to the house and wants to grow them to a reasonable size before consumption, they intend to keep catching as many as they can, but don't know if growing them at home will be worth.

Will they survive?
Is a bowl good enough for them?
What kind of feeds would they eat?

Any advice I can guide them with please?

Besides, if keeping them is worth while get some few yards of tarpaulin build wooden box and fit the tarpaulin inside, fill it up with water and keep your fingerlingz

Fingerlings caught in the wide are not easily domesticated due to culturable factor.....
Hence, advise the kids to return them to their natural habitat to grow naturally.

However, you can buy them cultured Fingerlings as cheap as #15 per one.. But honestly, without a proper management it may just not worth it.

Welcome but please remember to wash the tarpaulin and get it free from petrochemical before introducing the fish.
