DanshikiObi. The African alternative to T-shirt. Also called the D-shirt is aimed at moving Nigeria from consumption to production. In support of Peter Obi's presidential campaign.

Very suitable to be worn individually and during the obidient walks and campaigns.


It’s a unisex attire that’s much more comfortable than the tight polo we use for the campaign under the hot sun. It's all-fitting, breathable and more convenient for our hot environment.

It beats my imagination we’ve not been using this all along. Maybe our over-dependence made us lose our sense of innovation

Can’t we go from consuming attires made abroad, to producing our very own danshiki? And keep the forex here, keep the jobs and in turn strengthen the naira.

To propagate this cause which most of us believe would change the future of Nigeria; the obedient movement. We need to use this to pass our message better, while the opponents are “consuming” the imported T-shirts. We're going for made in Nigeria DanshikiObi D-shirt

In addition, the people want to be part of a common cause. We all want to be proud that we played a part in this campaign for radical change.

D-shirt is made by Faneeds clothing. A fashion brand run by a team of young Nigerians with my humble self as design directed.

This same mantra lifted the country.

Obi's mantra of a shift from consumption to production can do the same for Nigeria.
