He then went to the press to proclaim that Afenifere, a Yoruba social-political group, had endorsed him. While a huge sum might have been paid for this empty endorsement, the acceptability of Obi in SW hasn't gone beyond the 4x4 room where the said endorsement was pronounced.

Today, the real Afenifere has come out to endorse their real candidate. It was carnival-like in Akure where Bola Ahmed Tinubu was received by a large number of prominent Afenifere leaders including Chief Olu Falae. Tinubu presented his 80-page manifesto to the group and he was prayed for by Pa Fasoranti, the leader of Afenifere.

When they endorsed obi it was clear

Tinubu is a Yoruba son , if he requests ordinance he would be granted ....but saying he was endorsed is a big lie and you know that

Finally, yorubas are recoiling to their regional enclave where they have always belonged. Yorubas are unfit for national politics. You can't scam Peter Obi, he doesn't give shi shi. Actually, thiefnubuu was the one scammed in the North while Obi is busy taking his SW backyard. Now he has seen the shame the north has prepared for him only to come and whip tribal sentiment in SW.
