Lol. Melaye the desperate loser. I am a former diasporan now living and running businesses in Lagos Nigeria. Yorubas in the diaspora will never endorse Atiku. What on earth will they find impressive about Atiku? Just as Western scholars are most impressed with Tinubu as the foremost and most effective leader in Nigeria is how Nigerian diasporans based in the West will also be most impressed with Tinubu. People don't do frivolities, tribalism or sentiments in the West. They focus on tangible and what is proven. Also, many there are exposed, independent and proud. They know what an opportuned geographical space is about. They know, North to South, Lagos is the closest in Nigeria to their diasporan bases per opportuned geographical space. Yorubas in the diaspora are too successful, exposed, intelligent and 'loaded'. They will never endorse Atiku who cannot even influence the development of Adamawa or better the wretchedness of the North yet says he wants to lead Nigerians. LegendHero:Bro, na subjective spin. Anyone can go to a diner in Maryland with a couple of Yorubas who will give them thumbs up, out of politeness alone, to claim that is "endorsement". No proper, legit and successful diasporan can be impressed with Atiku. As a former UK diasporan, I have used the mortgage system, with reasonable interest rates, in the UK to purchase several homes giving me a portfolio now worth more than a billion naira today if I liquidate though I purchased the properties much cheaper many years ago. I enjoyed considerable equity gains but deserve the gains because I have serviced mortgage payment on several properties, in an organised country for over 10 years. I know only Tinubu can organise Nigeria like that even looking at the multiple agencies coordinating Lagos that cannot be found anywhere else in Nigeria. Also, pertains to mortgages, Tinubu is one leader who directly identified that corruption cannot end in Nigeria if Nigerians don't have access to favorable mortgage and credit terms to allow them purchase the most important things they need like homes, cars, expensive electronics etal. He has proposed lower interest rate as a core policy drive of his administration as President. Naturally that talk, and his achievements, resonates with me as a UK home-owner who was able to obtain residential and investment mortgage schemes that made me.wealthy without much effort. I would want similar for Nigerians as a way of creating a progressive middle class, boost spending, defeat poverty and reduce crime. I use credit to lease brand new cars I then swap every 2 or 3 years for another new vehicle. Why then would I be impressed with Atiku or Obi let alone endorse either? I have seen better and can never fck with Atiku or upstart Obi. This is political propaganda bro. Diasporans know what sane Countries are and those who can deliver such. Many are self-reliant and dignified so don't have to be sycophantic. They won't endorse Atiku. Many, except those politically exposed, will not sacrifice their valuable and well-paid shift to go and meet him. I sure as hell would not. In fact most diasporan already understand they know more than Atiku because they understand what a working nation looks like and have never seen Atiku deliver similar. Diasporans see progressive politics everyday and how such impact their lives. Just show me how, of all candidates , Atiku can make sense to diasporans. What has he made of Adamawa and how has he uplifted the fortune of the North he is from? Atiku will be last candidate any diasporan will support because he does not even live in Nigeria. Rishi Sunak does not live in Los Angeles to only visit UK when their is a leadership contest. Biden was not living in Canada. Nigerian politics is still very crude but diasporans will scoff at Atiku walahi because they are the most sophisticated Nigerians alive and this is no disrespect to Nigerians in Nigeria. Diasporans have simply seen better and know better. What Atiku is doing, i.e living in Dubai to only show up to contest elections, is not done anywhere. It shows the lack of sophistication of Nigerian politics and the disdain Atiku has for the average Nigerian. This alone will offend diasporans massively but the average Nigerian is used to being disrespected and given nothing yet he will still go and vote his oppressor. It is the only reason Atiku has the nerve to be contesting this election. Most diasporans will be offended by him and will shun him. |

Nothing and almost nowhere is working. The horrid devaluation of Naira alone has driven thousands of businesses into failure and closure in the past 2 years. Indigenes of most States in Nigeria are frustrated and looking to relocate to Lagos. How then is Tinubu your problem if you are truly a Northerner living in the North? Is it not your unprogressive leadership from your region you should be angry at and rebelling against? Instead you are here promoting Atiku daily.
