The presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi on Tuesday defined the ‘deal’ he has with some aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He was speaking in Makurdi during a visit to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.

Mr Obi said he and the PDP Governors have a common interest in finding a better Nigeria amid increasing security threat and a humanitarian crisis.

“The only deal I have with them is that they are passionate about Nigeria,” Mr Obi said.

He criticised the All Progressive Congress for displaying a lack of leadership during the current crisis.

So you want Obi to listen to you and stop interacting with potential voters. That means you do not mean well for his campaign.

I can tell you this for free. Obi's visibility is what is propelling his campaign. Being in the news and seen with the common main makes his personality relatable and that how he has come along way in this campaign.

Otom is even campaigning for him. Do you know what it means for an opposition candidate to say that a presidential candidate has competence and capacity to lead the country? If you are an Otom's supporter and hear Otom saying such nice things about PO candidacy, would not be inclined to consider voting for him?

I encourage PO to continue his outreach, sensitization and continue to energise his base. PO has the stamina and great work ethics which the country needs now to move us out from this hole your APC has driven the country into.
