I don't think this is a problem from the way we played in the first half. If there were trying fanciful passes in the midfield and wanting more time on the ball by playing our usual pattern,we would have been exposed but with this tactics,i think both starting is justifiable.

Nobody, Absolutely no one who's watched them both in the middle would say the bolded.

For starters, RLC should never start for us cos he adds nothing to complement Jorginho. Very bad awareness and cannot or should not even be playing the CM position.

The pressure is constantly on Jorginho cos he's doing it alone

How we did end up with two Germans wimps in the form of Havertz and Werner? The former decision making is poor and lacks explosiveness like Nihilist wrote. For a guy that was supposed to be a hybrid of ballack and ozil, this is so disappointing.
