The Governor Nyesom Wike led G-5 Governors have stormed Makurdi the Benue state capital ahead of Monday’s commissioning of some projects executed by Governor Samuel Ortom and to flag off of the 2023 election campaigns in the state.

The governors, who were Sunday evening received by Governor Samuel Ortom at the Makurdi Airport, included Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu and Seyi Makinde of Oyo state.

The five influential governors who are leading the call for the resignation of the National Chairman of the PDP to pave the way for the emergence of a Southern Chairman in line with the zoning arrangement of the party, are meeting as a group for the first time in Benue State.

It was gathered that aside commissioning of projects, the five governors would also hold scheduled routine meetings to fine tune their strategies ahead of the 2023 elections.

At the time of this report the five governors were already in a meeting at the recently commissioned Ape Aku Lodge ahead of the State Banquet put together by the Benue state government for the august visitors.

These G5 governors are Patriots. They love Nigeria and will not want the country to fall into the hands of looters who will enslave the youths for another 8 long years.

There are more chances that the G5 governors will align with a credible candidate like Peter Obi to spite the old guard.

I believe Wike will become OBIdient in 2023. Atiku's absence coupled with his tribalistic remarks when he met with northerners will fuel his transition towards the OBIdient Republic.

If these governors were aggrieved northerners, they won't be making these amount of noise, they will work underground and achieve their aim. Southerners expose their plans too early, all the time.

These people don't know that Nigeria is gradually moving beyond the level of governors determining election results . If bvas works well and the police do their job , the masses and people will vote for whosoever they like NOT WHO THEIR GOVERNORS LIKE
Wike knows this and that is why he has quickily bought over 200,000 voters and votes under the pretence of employing special advisers.
Wike is a good man and a cheerful giver ,maybe he will give the remaining governors in his group enough money to employ thousands of PAs the same way he has done
