Any real evidence any Fulani campaigned against Tinubu in the mosque?!

Fulani don't even go to mosques like typical Hausa, they pray anywhere in the bush part

And meyetti Allah of Niger State openly gave their endorsement to Tinubu

Tinubu needs to follow what's right which is Muslim and Christian ticket in the federal national country and leave everything.

North Central votes plus Southwest votes are enough! Then start canvasing for votes from other zones. Since everyone is included in the pool, several would join in.
Apart From Ibos and Some Fulanis who are settlers nobody in Nigeria vote on Religion, they prefer ethnicity to religion

In 1979 Awolowo a Christian picked a Southern Christian to contest with Shagari and Ekweume.... Awolowo came close Second and it was through rigging and court judgement that Shagari was declared, Awolowo even won northern state as a Christian

1993 Abiola vs Tofa, Abiola with Muslim Muslim ticket still won many southern States with Christian Majority

Fulani are the ones heading Hausa Mosques. Go to their Mosques na and hear the lot of rubbish said about Tinubu.

Go to Kaduna and see all El rufai stalwart supporting Atiku while they support El rufai's candidate for governor. Why did you think El rufai's son was crying when Wike supported Sanwo Olu in Lagos? Shouldn't they be happy if they wanted Tinubu to win?

What about Gombe APC governor crying because Makinde supported Tinubu? Shouldn't they be happy if they wanted Tinubu to win?

One APC Fulani leader even came on TV and asked people to vote for Atiku. Abegi.

As for Miyetti, they supported Jonathan yet betrayed him.

Point is Tinubu should simply return things as it should have been and bring in Lalong who should have been the VP. North Central plus SW votes are enough. Then he can start canvasing for votes from other zones. That's the best.

Which zone is currently locked down for Tinubu? Even in the South West, I don't see him go beyond 60% here

Like I always say, I am part Northerner from my mother's side and nothing going on in Kano, Kaduna that I don't follow...

Again NorthCentral has 6 state, 2 are very sure for Tinubu so why waste his time changing VP

Go and listen every morning to BBC Hausa or VOA Hausa and you would know Tinubu is 80% coasting to victory

And did you see here? The Fulani and Hausa all supported Tofa except the rebellious Kano.

It was the North Central and South South who saved the day for Abiola.

Even though Abiola went with Muslim Muslim ticket, things are not the same today considering the Terrorism and aside that, there's a third force in Peter Obi.

Tinubu doesn't need more harm by limiting his votes. He needs to include everyone. Even Buhari didn't limit his votes. Tinubu needs to sweep the whole North Central to add to his SW and he can only do that with Lalong.

Guess who first suggested Muslim-Muslim ticket for Tinubu?! Orji Uzor Kalu a Christian and an Ibo

Political analyst know that a Senate President slot is far more powerful for a Christian than an idle VP similar to Osinbajo

A man like Tinubu takes decision based on proper calculations and permutations as an accountant

I am 100% sure Tinubu won't risk sure Loyalty of Northern Muslim for Disloyalty of Southern Christian, after all what happened in the primaries

I have already replied in my previous post. It was the North Central and South South that saved Abiola at the end of the day because the Fulani and Hausa refused to vote him except Kano.

But things are not the same today considering the Terrorism. And there's a third force in Peter Obi.

Tinubu secluding his votes will only harm him the more. As a matter of fact, he needs to sweep the whole of North central to add to his SW. And only Lalong can ensure it since no other North Central man is contesting as the main character here.

Meanwhile, forget about Miyetti. They supported Jonathan too but betrayed him. Atiku is a Fulani cattle rearer. He's their personal person who's been supporting them since forever. The only time they were against him was when Buhari was contesting.

Nah.

It was mostly the Northern governors in APC who suggested Muslim Muslim ticket. Then others were like, well it's not bad.. but with the way things are. It's bad. Because Tinubu has no spread at all because he limited his votes. He doesn't even have any zone to count on except SW..

He needs two zones at least. Besides, he should do what's right in federal national country and leave everything alone. As a matter of fact, with Lalong, Two zones in SW and North central are enough already. Then, he can start to canvass for votes from other zones.

Based on what is on ground today in Nigeria, and disdain for Tinubu candidacy by many Nigerians across all geo-political zones. There is no single region that is fully locked down for him.

Please let be realistic here. At least you saw and watch Arewa youth yesterday speaking against same nan
Tinubu is your next president just pray for Him to succeed, He would win even if Buhari and all Nigerians vote against Him, what God told me on the 6th of November 2015 is still ringing loud in my ears, the workers in my former and present company could testify, same way I laughed when they said He is loosing APC Primary, take it or leave it He is your next president, what I can't just say is if God would use Him to heal our land or discipline us. May God heal our land.

Let's even forget about Obi.

Let Tinubu Change his VP to Lalong. Good thing that no North Central man is contesting as the main character here. Lalong will clear the whole North Central to add to Tinubu's SW. That's two zones in the bag. We can then start looking for votes from other zones to join in. Shettima can always have another role.
you have a good point but it is late already, tinubu already clinch the winning with shettima

Ayodeoba:

It's not late. VP candidate can be changed at any time. It's only Presidential candidate that was given a stipulated time since they were appointed unlike VP candidate that was picked.

Secondly, there's a reason for such change. The federal character wasn't involved in the picking of the VP candidate of a federal country.
Re: 2023: Tinubu May Come Distance Third (warning) by sonature1: 9:30am On Nov 09, 2022
Zonefree:
Valid assertion.

Having SW and NC in the bag would have helped Tinubu's presidential ambition.

Shettima can't even deliver NE cos Atiku is from there. Tinubu goofed with his political permutations and it's a bonus for Peter Obi.
North Central is deeply diverse, so even if a presidential candidate come from there, it won't change anything.

How can you possibly think that people from Benue or Kwara consider those from Niger State their brothers and sisters?

There's no cohesion in that region. North Central is just a creation among other geopolitical zones to make Nigeria fairly divided across regions. Tinubu chose a man he thinks can win him votes. I think El-Rufai would have been better.
