We are back from break.

Owerri is a glorified village that's why millions of imo indigenes are trooping to Anambra cities for greener pasture. Owerri doesn't have a signature infrastructure.

1. Owerri

2. Awka

I want to see something like this in Anambra....
This picture is just From one location. . There are different location in the entire city owerri with the same design... I love the decoration as you call it. Kindly post something like this ... Obviously you can't get it

Owerri is the worst state capital in southern Nigeria
Owerri is an unplanned disjointed disorganised village with dilapidated muddy tiny roads. Imo leaders have failed imo state. This is why millions of imo indigenes are living in Anambra

1. Owerri

2. Awka

The capital
Top beautiful city in Nigeria and unarguably in South East

Owerri is a complete slum. There's no single road in Owerri with covered drainage. Owerri is such a glorified village

Pictures: Awka inner city roads with covered drainage

Grgton:
Oga Post a junction na ?? Abi are there no good roads/streets in onitsha and Awka?? Or are you not tired of posting Enugu onitsha expressway ? With two flyovers??

He knows Awka or onitsha will never catch up with Owerri in modernization and developments. No city in Anambra will make top 5 in Nigeria....

He should just hang himself already because trying to post fake and old pictures of Owerri won't even give him a leverage...

Stop crying cheesy

Owerri is a glorified village that's why millions of imo indigenes are running to Anambra cities to live.

There's a reason why you cannot find any other Igbo living in Owerri.

There's a reason imo doesn't have a befitting city that imo indigenes can be proud of

There's a reason imo shall continue to be backwater and Owerri will remain a village.

There's no modernization in imo state that's why imo indigenes are trooping to Anambra to live

This is what a city looks like.

This is Onitsha and Awka the two fastest developing cities in Nigeria aside Abuja. Owerri aa a glorified village can never get to the level of modernization and signature infrastructures of Awka even in the next 200yrs.

Owerri is a slum and not fit to be called a state capital. Imo has no single city. Owerri is a village, Orlu and Okigwe are hamlets. It is understandable why you are bitter over the progressive Anambra with multiple flourishing cities that imo indigenes are constantly trooping to for greener pasture.

I know you are pained that imo indigenes rather live in Onitsha or Awka than ever live in Owerri.

Imo indigenes like Orange drugs rather invest in Onitsha rather than Onitsha.

It shows one thing that Onitsha and Awka at not just cities but top 10 in Nigeria, whereas Owerri is not just in the top 40 but at the bottom, that's why no one goes there to invest except to come carry your girls who are mostly commercial sex hawkers.

the state govt. is building a modern market for them.I hope the said code you mentioned will be brougth to bear...

That's good. One of the things they do in the US is the fire department doesn't just put out fires. If you build a building you have to get it approved by them and they will come in and see if the way it was built is fire resistant, and if there are adequate escapes in case of fire + an extinguisher and alarm.

I don't know if the new fire depts in Nigeria are of the same mind, but this is a concept worth adapting,

Exactly! I made a post once, suggesting all markets in Anambra should undergo a fire safety check and any fire hazards or any unsafe practices should be flagged and addressed immediately or the market shut down until it’s made safe!

I also suggested that each market should have a water reservoir that is constantly topped up and that fire drills should be conducted at least once every three months. Parking at these markets should be arranged in such a way as to not block any fire trucks attending a fire incident at the market

These things are not rocket science and are the minimum expected of any fire service!

Shut up your dirty smelling mouth. Why are you always complaining to people? Why are you always bitter and envious with Anambra progress and advancement? Is Anambra the reason Owerri is a glorified village? Is Anambra the reason there's no liveable or decent city in imo state the reason millions of imo indigenes are running to Anambra cities to live, whereas you cannot find one Anambra indigene living in imo state. Anuofia where is the fake picture? All the pictures i posted are confirmed and recent. I know you are hurt since I started exposing Owerri for what it is- a glorified village. I am waiting for you to respond to all my posts, so I can further teach you another lesson. Ediot

Grgton this is the current outlook of Owerri as at October 2022, where is the fake picture? Why are you pained because all the propaganda about Owerri was exposed in this video. Even okada is now running almost everywhere in Owerri due to bad muddy roads. Stop fooling yourself because everyone's aware of the condition of Owerri.

Our people believe that problems only exist when you're in the middle of them. Most of what we encounter is a failure of preparation. Look at the recent floods. When they end, there will be no evacuation or early warning plan even though it's a man made issue. We can yab about 3 million dead from Biafra but I'm yet to see the very ppl that saw starvation erect a grain silo, and most of them would consider farming an insult.

But it's not rocket science like you said. Honestly I think someone who can draft a plan and physically take it to the government would have a decent chance. Especially if you take it to local government, or even the market association. As much as we're not pro-active, the bigger issue is our proactive thinkers don't do and our doers don't think.

Ignore Chino and Desmond Nedu Alaegbu. When frustrated people are feeling pain they want to release it. If something is causing those two to feel so much pain that they do this for hours, every day, then they are a victim really.

Most ppl know that Chino and Desmond Nedu Alaegbu don't represent Anambra ppl or Igbo people and for the most part everyone ignores them, The post volume from ppl like this will make it look like there's some type of conflict between Igbo states but if you realize it's the same person doing it over and over, you begin to pity.

Ikengawo mechieonu dirty gi there, you weren't different from people you are accusing, the only reason you toned down and trying to play cool is because you were equally checked and whipped into line, if not you are a champion of bigotry. You have in the time past launched attacks on Anambra and even more recently, but you met a stiff resistance that's why you are playing low. You know that if you attack you will equally get an equal or overdose of what you bargained for. So shut because we know everyone here and their history.

Pure lie. Outsiders recognize by your state.

If they ask you your state then tell them Igbo. Most of us have lived pass these petty ethnic issues we are only focusing on tht big picture.

In America even California they see themselves as nations not tribes. We are looking at Anambra as a nation that is part of the bigger nation Nigeria. For development to thrive certain pity figuratived must be thrown away.
