VaginaMiners:Okpo, where I live is heaven compared to the slum called ado ekiti, come to obosi and see very developed city and nice houses unlike the brown roof dilapidated buildings that full ado ekiti. Did you not see the pictures I posted?? That's a fraction of Obosi. |

*ANAMBRA STATE INVESTMENTS BY PETER OBI ARE WORTHLESS SAYS A PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS* Yesterday night during Channels TV live interview, Gov Soludo made disparaging remarks about Peter Obi. According to him, it is useless saving money when people are dying in the hospitals and the investments PO made are next to nothing. I will quickly respond to these 2 weighty issues made by Soludo. Before PO came into office, no hospital in Anambra had ANY accreditation. Due to PO investments in health, 10 hospitals (govt and mission owned) were accreditated for Nursing and Midwifery. Obi also built a brand new Teaching Hospital that was equally accreditated. Soludo did not see this and people are dying in the hospitals because PO is saving. I hope Soludo knows PO investment in Interfact Breweries is not the ONLY investment. Just for clarity purpose, Interfact Breweries today is now a Multinational Corporation, initially a subsidiary of SABMiller and now AB InBev, the largest brewery in the World. Anambra State Ministry of Finance has 4.7% stake of AB InBev in Nigeria, which Soludo was referring to as worthless. Yes the stock value may have fallen, no thanks to Buhari genius, but according to the last financial release, the Total Assets of AB InBev is 372billion Naira, which are worthless according to Soludo. AB InBev, a multinational company that remits millions in PAYE to State Government and Company Income Tax to Fed Government year-in year-out is worthless according to Soludo. A company that has added identity to the SE and paid millions to South easterners, such as Illbliss, Zoro, PSquare, Osofia and co as well as contributed to the entertainment industry is worthless according to Soludo. A company that has employed thousands in direct labour and more indirectly is worthless according to Soludo. I hope Soludo also know that PO invested heavily in infrastructure in the Harbour Industry Estate/Layout in Onitsha, that is located in between the first and second Niger Bridges is what Soludo said is worthless. The Harbour Industry Estate now has over 30 functioning companies impacting positively in jobs creation and revenue to Anambra and Soludo said the infrastructural investments in this area are worthless. I hope Soludo knows PO made investments in the Orient Petroleum Industries, which has made Anambra to be an oil producing State. In June this year, Anambra received 268million naira as first payment based on 13% derivation from the Federal Government and will continue to do so, except oil exploration stops, but our Prof of Economics says the investments in Orient Petroleum Industries are worthless. Apart from direct investments, PO also contributed to the attraction of several industries, which Anambra is benefitting, for example Innoson and Juhel. Let me stop here for now. Soludo appears to have issues with PO, be it jealousy or whatever. But, as a governor and if he has problems with the current state of Anambra, he should first bare his fangs on Obiano his immediate past predecessor before Obi. He may as well continue to find faults up to Ngige and Mbadinuju. Soludo's quick was to attack PO but dodged to comment on the redesigning of the Naira by the CBN when asked in the same interview says a lot about him and his character. Before we forget, Soludo was among those that campaign for Buhari, whose genius has affected Nigeria businesses and billionaires, including Anambra State investments. I will end this piece with a quote from Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala - “ _There is definitely an issue of character with Prof. Soludo and his desperate search for power and relevance in Nigeria. Nigerians should, therefore, beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal_ ."

Odin13:Sometimes it's good to be reasonable. You shouldn't allow yourself to be stupid at all times because you support an opposition party or member who doesn't even know of your existence. That is a current issue going on in Anambra. The governor in a bid to increase IGR has increased taxes by over 100%. Both APC, PDP, APGA, LP etc supporters are all affected. So don't be ridiculous, our aim should be for the country to get better and not stupidly supporting incompetent individuals out of political sentiments. |

BossGerald:Can't compete with Igbo, you are truly delusional. What is there to do in your Barren region? What is in South East that Yoruba doesn't already have greater? Yoruba Compete in UK and USA, you see the numbers of Yoruba that won elections in USA recently? You over rate your Barren region, there is nothing for Yoruba to do there. What an Insult can't keep arguing with a deluded like you |

Elemosho478:Hahaha, there's nothing in the South east yet is far far more developed and urbanised than your overrated Southwest. Yes I saw the good yoruba that won elections in USA, they don't think and act like you that's why they're better and not tribalistic like you do...ofcourse igbos too won election. Did you not see an igbo woman azubuike that was promoted to a general in USA?? The fact is that without lagos, Southwest is just a big for nothing land for ritualists and skull miners and organ harvesters. |

gypsey:Is London southwest nigeria?? Hahaha, how fast to claim a londoner, tell me you're a britico co ![]() I have an assignment for you, use your Internet and Google pictures of South Eastern state capitals and other cities in the east and also goolge those of southwest and compare. Come back, quote me and let's know your findings...igbos are not your mate oo |

BossGerald:Without Lagos? As if Lagos is not a Yoruba land and being rule by Yoruba. The whole East can't match Oyo and Ogun in development, which part of your barren region is even as industrialized as Ogun state not to even talk of Lagos? The East is more developed but you guys can't stop trooping out of the barren region everyday to all states in the west. One Azuibike became general you guys were chestbeating like clowns, Yoruba are top minister in US and UK and without any noise, the Yoruba woman in UK even almost become their Prime minister "Yoruba can't compete with Igbo", what an Insult, we compete in saner clime not with barbarians and savages in a barren region. Yoruba are top millionaire in UK and even bought airports, in USA a Yoruba the Founder of calendly was reported by Forbes to be a billionaire and among the richest African in USA, but to you Yoruba can't compete with some barbarians from a barren region.

Elemosho478:Ogun state Is rich truly, large and industrialised with huge igr that the truth, but why is ti still very slummy and under developed with so many bad roads and rural settlements, its obvious your Governors are incompetent and you people keep electing them looters while blaming igbos for your woes... Imagine Anambra state with a lesser igr is far far more developed and urbanised than the big for nothing ogun state, oyo and Ibadan are worst...you can google the two state capitals and compare the images with that of cities or even ordinary town in Anambra state. China is well developed yet they are in every country around the would schooling or doing business, would you call their country barren becos of that?? Now use your head. I never doubt yorubas who find themselves outside this country do well, so with other tribes, even an Indian is currently the UK MP...also Google about successful igbos overseas and you'll see them in quantum, do you know that the father of modern computer is an igbo man "Philip emeagwali" from Onitsha?? You can also Google that . Igbos also invest home that's why you see the most beautiful houses even in the villages, they develop their environment unlike you where your towns and cities are forgotten and littered with brown roof... Remove lagos and SW is an empty land, even lagos was the federal capital for 75yrs...if not other yoruba states would have been as developed as lagos naa, why are they very underdeveloped? It shows that its because of the federal government presence In lagos. Let's compare your overrated SW cities with those in the east, are you in? |

BossGerald:I think you have being responding to the wrong commenter. As i said , i can show you pictures of my hood here in London SW I am originally IGBO born in England my parents are from Unubi Anambara, here you have it! I asked you for pictures of Obosi because my uncle has a house (4 storey) at Obosi road near Nkpor junction, i am sure you know Nkpor junction |
| Re: Soludo's Tax Policies Choking — Schools, Traders Protest by BossGerald: 6:24pm On Nov 12, 2022 |
gypsey:I don't understand what you mean by "London SW". Secondly, you're not from unubi in my State. I've already shown you about three pictures, you don't expect me to empty my gallery just to massage your ego, which still you won't accept your SW region is overrated. I know Obosi road near nkpor junction, anyone familiar with obosi and nkpor knows that the two town is well urbanised and filled with multiple storey buildings, mostly five storey...so anyone can claim his uncle owns any of the houses. Lastly, you're not an igbo...nevertheless if the London you claim you live is in SW nigeria (not lagos oo), why haven't you posted it here?? |

BossGerald:Not bad, looks cleaner than i expected, I am not famliar with this place but i have driven past places like Uga, Ekwulobia and Oko.. during one of my visits to Naigeria or IGBOland then again you would still say it is a lie, i don't care if you believe or not. NB. SW is a borough in London as in postal code SW1 google it. |
| Re: Soludo's Tax Policies Choking — Schools, Traders Protest by BossGerald: 4:42pm On Nov 13, 2022 |
gypsey:Yes, the town is still a developing one and not as populated as, awka, ekwulobia etc...over population without adequate waste management is always a disaster, it can turn a very beautiful city to a dirty one... Even Awka and onitsha with their huge population was clean then, becos Peter obi established ASWAMA(anambra agency for waste management), but Willie obiano ruined it...so can you see that anambra is not what your people believed it is?? BTW, we're you a student of OKO Poly??
