How reliable is buying a phone from aliexpress?

In my opinion, buying from vendors who already have it available here in Nigeria is better. Customs issue with imported items is still on, so you might be ordered to pay an extravagant fee to clear your item before they release it. By the way, which phone do you plan to get?

how much is 90k in dollars at black market rate? when u get that answer, factor in a few dollars more for getting a dollar card and when u're done, u'll see it's not worth it . My advice, jejely walk into a phone store and get what Ur money reach

Which is generally cheaper: online store or physical store

Physical store no try online ooo make dem no seller faulty phone to you.

There is restriction on naira account.. you can't go beyond 10k

just buy it offline no matter how much it cost. The risk involved in online buying ehhnn, the phone might come faulty, they migt ship a different variant or a network locked device, it may crack on the process if shipping. Just go to a nearby store add small money and buy phone that you can return with ease if it gives your problem.

I don't know what these people here are saying.
Yeah! Custom issues still persists but they only delay the delivery of your items, nothing more except that you might pay small change at the post office or logistics company for pick up.

As I write this, I'm expecting the delivery of 3 items ordered on AliExpress. This isn't the first, second or tenth time.


Just make sure the phone you're buying is the "Global Edition" if not, you'd pay to unlock it here in Nigeria. Read reviews too.

Above all, follow your heart after getting insights here.

unless u can source for cheap dollars, I personally don't think it's worth it, except Ur choice of phone is not available in Nigeria
