You can use ginger juice or lemon orange juice... That is the natural preservatives I use in my cakes.

Nice post, cakes are not meant to last forever, if properly baked your cake will last for 5 days. The best preservative for cake is sorbic acid. Or use brandy/rum

I used oil instead of butter.

To preserve my cakes, i put them inside a freezer bag and put in the fridge. it lasts long.

Just a pity no need for preservatives in my household. My son and I are dangerous! No size of cake can last more than a day, if it last for two days, then I traveled the yesterday wink

We definitely can't allow a cake to enjoy the comfort of our home, please!

You can put sand in a pot.
Put it on fire. It can be kerosene stove, or any cooking fire you are used to. Let it be medium fire.
Allow it to heat up.
Put your mixture in pan.
Put the cake pan in the pot.
Cover it.
It makes like oven.
