@Modestgal,
What young age range are you looking for?

If you can't find them in the big cities like Ontario, then the young non-student, and unmarried Nigerian Muslims won't be in the small towns either because most immigrants gravitate more to the big cities to find work.

Second, I didn't realise when I first noticed your profile and posts years back that you're a Muslim until now... You never gave a hint or sounded like one. Lol. But that's okay.wink

Why not create a Website or
social media presence where the target young audience you want can meet and drive targeted web
traffic to it? Did you know there are
over 7 million Muslims in the United States alone?... That's way more than in Canada.

I may do this. Nice suggestion.

Huh?! grin... You fly to those 8 places?
What made you decide to go to those seemingly stimulating 8 towns you just mentioned?

Aha! I said earlier that you must be the adventurous type. *Smirk*

Good... Do it and check on similar

So, ModestGal, what kinda businesses are you looking to promote in the young folks group?

Are they to do with halal-specific businesses and leisure travels... I guess since you love traveling?

Jeweltz,

These words in your post are very unwise for you to say! You owe me an apology.

I expect you as a female to have
easily detected sarcastic humor in my post that you quoted instead of making purely baseless assumptions here. It's very clear that some male and female users of this forum find it hard to detect satirical and sarcastic speech in posts.

If you read my post very well, you'll realise I was being humorously sarcastic and having little bants with her in my post. Period.

I was actually joking before but I think i may actually create a group. But won't be Muslim groups though, just a general group. because most muslims don't really have money and its money im looking for. I've been considering that as I really do love having groups

Jeweltz, how's it going?

I accept your apology and feedback here. It takes someone who has self-awareness or emotional intelligence to do so after going off the correct verbal trail. Lol.

Talk to you later. Ciao! wink

That's okay... The part about Muslims not really having money is debatable though. Over the years, I've known a lot of successful folks of Muslim heritage. Most don't brag or make a noise about the money they have.

The Houston Rockets MVP and basketball legend Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon, the Ibadan-born, Texas-based Nigerian-American Kase Lawal who is a billionaire oil and gas magnate, and much more are very wealthy. Get it? Good.

Take care.

Its just like you saying Nigerians are wealthy and citing examples of Adeleke,Adenuga,Dangote and using Banana island parties ass examples. They are truthfully rich but they are not upto 20% of Nigerians, because more than 80% of Nigerians are in abject poverty.
One thing I love about Western countries is that they work with statistics. As at this moment, statistics still show that black people are the poorest in all Western Countries and they have the highest death and Crime rates. Talkess of Black Muslims or Nigerian Muslims. Immigrants still remain the poorest.
That's what the data shows and even a blind man can easily see that

Regarding thee examples you made, in your own thinking,if I should create a group, those people would be the one in the group right? Im a realist dear, if i create a Muslim black group now,i only would have people in shelter(Somalians) in the group.
I understand you are hurt because you are a Muslim, but you need to grow out of trying to defend a group because you were naturally born in the group or because you choose the group. Muslims aren't doing WELL anywhere, its a fact. If you continue to deny the truth, you will not grow
Personally, I don't have Muslim female friends and may never have because most of them don't have anything to offer than toxic competition, though its generally female things. Once a sister is religious, there's a high chance that the sis would be boring as hell when it comes to conversations. I'm religious but Im not boring and we still have many like myself but they are very very few because it's hard for me to find any.
Nah,I don't wanna gossip about how some people would enter hell due to their chosen way of life all day

Lol. @ModestGal, "you love to use slide tackles... kilode gan?" grin

Your reference to Somali folks in the Canadian shelters cracked me up. Lol.

Your opening comment is nicely put though. I agree with your POV there. You seem to still like being introverted, and love your personal space, but also like to explore new ways of doing things. Some last borns act like that.

You reckon? It's interesting that you think I am. I'm not a Muslim, but have Muslims in my fam tree. I've read real books about Islam and other faiths or teachings over the years so as to be well-grounded about life. I hate dogmatic teachings though, and will ask relevant questions!

About being boring and NOT being dynamic, you have a strong point as I have also read about this boring nature of over-religious folks among Xtians and others, not only members of the Muslim ummah.

So, yeah, that's a personal weakness and lack of flexibility which the individuals have to change by upgrading their public speaking skills and reading books on current and past events. A boring marital life or friendship must be avoided by developing the needed skills.

I like the perspectives you brought out in your post. In near-absolute terms, they are valid.

I'll talk to you later.

Enjoy your day. wink

So, we'll do some more convos later on another thread, and do have a great work-week ahead (i.e., just before you let your hair down over the weekend boogie down). Lol

You take care.

Cheers. wink
