If only this election can just come and go.

It reminds of the grandstanding by Trump in the just concluded midterm election in US. After so much noise, bragging and hundreds of millions of dollars spent, Republicans couldn't pull off the stunt (aka red tsunami) they hoped. And it all turned into blame games among themselves.

No matter what, come May 2023, there will only be one President.

How can a party that has bastardized the economy, allowed insecurity to fester uncontrollably, kept students at home for more than half a year get votes from the same people who have been denied their right to education? The same group of Nigerians, who have no jobs, people who are pauperised, how can they vote for the APC?

How can the youths, whose parents and relatives, have been killed by terrorists and bandits, who have been displaced, give their votes again to failed promises? This must be a case of Stockholm syndrome but it must not happen.

You can't compare a campaign flag off and a regular campaign. I am not holding brief for anybody but know this and know peace. Plateau isn't a fertile ground for APC.
