Sadly that was the reality of PDP government... The whole place was going into chaos that's why APC could win Jonathan easily. The whole country was tired of the endless corruption and inflation

It depends on criteria used to define the word "poverty" and all states were affected by the high data

Una don shift goalposts again? The criteria used by NBS will determine the figures. United Nations put Anambra poverty at 11% same period

First of all I don't have energy for goal post shifting. You are talking about the high rates of poverty for all states in Soludo's data and I told you that was how bad things were under PDP at the center. What ever happens to the center affect the state but.

We are not talking about United Nations data right now are we?

I don't like how you Obi supporters can't be issue based and still cry for issue based conversations. On AIT yesterday a supporter of Atiku was roasting LP' PCC's spokesperson, the spokesperson was just repeating the same thing, going from consumption to production. If them ask wetin your aspirant produce now you go say na beer.

Nothing has changed... Remember that at no time have inflation gone down in this country it has always gone up and I'm talking about since independence or however you want to back date it... So things were so bad at the time it was anyone but Jonathan, Buhari seems like a general that will not take nonsense, he will end corruption, block leakages, he's frugal so spending of the government will be at the minimal. All these we thought would happen but what I realized about Buhari over time is, as a northern leader, I think Buhari wanted to do something for his people, the reason he has been contesting non-stop, we can say that Buhari achieved so much in infrastructure, but he didn't fight corruption as I expected...Nigeria is very complex to rule, it's going to take more than being frugal or being honest or savvy, young or clean to rule the country, Nigeria is on brink of real economical chaos, Do you know that 62 years ago at independence, our population was around 45m but today we are over 200m, anything a government refused to provide today, the burden will double for the next government and generation, and I will tell you how, many people make it to working age or stage everyday while others get retired everyday, the government will have to provide for the new graduates and also provide pension and retirement for the retiree, new residential sites spring up everyday so the government will have to provide road and electricity for the new people it's endless and there's. An honest person will rule decently, keep accounts, use available money rightly, may take some for himself too but a thinker that Nigeria needs right now is someone that can generate money for the country and also know where to put these monies for economical growths.... I've seen tinubu done it in Lagos if you know what I mean.

Lagos is somewhere you go to go and make it, meaning people go to Lagos with the hope of bringing money back home in the future, poverty in Lagos can not be compared with other states but if lagos was not planned and worked at the time it would be worse now because of population influx and infrastructural deficiency. Nigeria naira once exchanged for 1 pounds but then bad governments after bad governments has made £1 exchange for over 1,000 naira today. But if Nigeria had gotten it right in-between let's say, Babangida was a thinker or even if OBJ had been a better thinker the country will be in prosperity now, it takes time, I keep telling you people on this forum, it doesn't happen in a day. It takes someone that can plan for let's say 20 years into the future and successors that will key into the plan, it has happened in Dubai, it has happened in China and it has happened in Lagos.

say anything but don't try to defend buhari, he is a colossal failure, PDP was bad, but APC is worse, that's how it is. Buhari lacks the intellectual capacity to be a local government chairman, talk more of president

Wait. So you mean before 1999, people were not trooping to Lagos to make it?
Can you tell me what is in Lagos that is not due to it being the former political capital and at present the commercial capital?

APGA is angry with Peter Obi for leaving APGA and they are asking him to come back. PDP is angry with Peter Obi for leaving PDP and they are asking him to come back. APC is angry with Peter Obi for not joining them.
